Greece’s prized “giant” bean, nostalgic to many older generations as The Peasant Meal. Our traditional recipe includes a puree of slow simmered vegetables, tomato and Greek herbs.
We’ve done the hard part, all you need to do is the classic “bake” part at home just before serving.FULLY COOKED, FROZEN
oven 375°, until warmed throughout (approx. 25-30 min)
PRO TIP: SLIGHTLY THAW BEFORE BAKE. KEEP LID ON TO WARM THROUGHOUT, REMOVE LAST FEW MIN TO BROWN FETA A BIT
Ingredients: gigantes (Greek giant beans), carrot, celery, onion, tomato, fresh garlic, e.v. Greek olive oil, Greek herbs (bay leaf, dried thyme buds, chamomile), salt, pepper, red wine vinegar. Feta (cow, domestic).
