You’ll need: Thick cut bread. We used our Tsoureki bread. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Batter (for 2 slices):
- 1 egg
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup milk
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tsp Greek honey
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp Greek e.v.olive oil
:: whisk together in a wide bowl ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Soak slices in batter. Heat 1-2 tbsp butter in skillet on med-high heat to start, then lower to medium. Cook slices on both sides until golden-brown. Serve with extra Greek honey, extra cinnamon and fresh fruit. |
